Professor Gav Don founded Newsbase, and is now Research Director for NB Research. Based in Edinburgh, Newsbase provides Data, Insight and Foresight for oil, gas, power and renewables corporate customers in 85 countries.
NB Research focuses on analytics and forecasting for the global hydrocarbons industry. NBR’s service include the Global Oil Forecast, which applies proprietary algorithms and data to the question of future Liquids demand and supply, and by-country power analyses which power and fuel markets and choices in developing economies. Gav is a regular writer and presenter on these and related subjects. Gav is also Visiting Professor of Finance at Edinburgh University.
